Kanyari Says Mbegu ya 310 Gives Him Confidence to Deliver for Kasarani

Pastor Victor Kanyari has told Kasarani residents that his experience convincing people to contribute to his controversial Mbegu ya 310 campaign gives him confidence that he can also secure government resources if elected Member of Parliament.

Kanyari, who is seeking the Kasarani parliamentary seat in the 2027 General Election, made the remarks while addressing residents on Sunday, September 13, 2026, as he continued campaigning for the seat.

The preacher argued that his ability to mobilise financial contributions from members of the public demonstrated that he would be capable of pushing for government funding for the constituency.

“If I was able to kuitisha Ksh310 ninatumiwa, ninaamini ya kwamba nitakuwa na uwezo ya kuitisha pesa huko juu,” Kanyari said.

Kanyari promises better roads and education

Kanyari said his priorities would include improving roads and ensuring children in Kasarani have access to education.

“Na tutatengeneza barabara. Watoto watasoma,” he said.

He went further to promise free education for children in the constituency if he wins the parliamentary seat.

“Mimi nikichaguliwa kuwa mbunge wa Kasarani, hakuna mtoto atalipa school fees. Hata kidogo,” Kanyari said.

The preacher has been increasingly visible in Kasarani as he seeks to transition from religious leadership into elective politics.

His campaign has focused on issues such as poor infrastructure, education and access to opportunities, as he attempts to convince residents to back his bid.

Kanyari responds to social media criticism

During his address, Kanyari also addressed criticism over his political activities and public appearances, particularly comments made about him on social media.

He questioned whether residents had noticed what he described as claims that he had become confused since entering politics.

“Si mnakaga kidogo mnaniona kwa social media? Ee! Munaona kidogo nimeleta wenda wazimu?” he asked.

Kanyari said some people had questioned his state of mind because of his activities and political mobilisation in Kasarani.

“Naleta huko Kisirani, watu wanasema Kanyari amechanganyikiwa,” he said.

He dismissed the claims, insisting that he was mentally sound.

“Lakini sikuwahi akili yangu ni timamu. Sinaga kasoro yoyote,” Kanyari said.

Kanyari invites all residents to his team

The preacher concluded his address by appealing to residents across Kasarani to join his political camp, saying his movement would not discriminate against anyone.

“So mimi sina maneno mengi, ninawapenda na ninawaalika wote kati-kati team Kanyari. Hatupagui,” he said.
