The Tamil Nadu vs Rajasthan Ranji Trophy 2026-27 match ended in a draw at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Wednesday.

The match ended with Tamil Nadu batting on 62/0, chasing 282 for the win. With only one session and less than three hours left to go, both teams shook hands to bring an early end to the contest.

Earlier in the match, it was Rajasthan that pressed home the advantage. Batting first, the home side, led by Karan Lamba’s century (113 off 156) scored 363. Karan found able support from opener Rohan Rajbhar (95 off 220) and Mahipal Lomror (66 off 105 balls) lower down the order.

In the second innings, Tamil Nadu got off to a shaky start as it lost Sai Sudharsan for three. His opening partner Narayan Jagadeesan and Pradosh Ranjan Paul did well to steady the ship with fifties. But both players departed soon after to leave Tamil Nadu in a spot of bother.

However, Andre Siddarth restored the balance with an 81 off 192 balls to help the visitor reach 274, handing Rajasthan a first-innings lead of 89. Rajasthan, in its second batting effort, declared on 192/6.

Then, Tamil Nadu saw off the second half of the second session before the match ended in a draw. Rajasthan, having secured the first-innings lead, came away with three points.
