Police hunt man after assault at south London station
Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault at a south London station which left the victim with “significant” facial injuries.
The incident occurred at around 5.30pm on Wednesday August 19, when a man alerted station staff that another man had pushed through the barriers at Clapham Junction railway station.
In response, the attacker punched the man who had reported him twice in the face, causing significant facial injuries which required hospital treatment.
Police would like to speak to this man in connection to the attack

British Transport Police (BTP) officers investigating the assault have released an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the attack.
Anyone who recognises him has been urged to contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 583 of 19 August, or to contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
