Apple TV is offering up some high-octane fun with Matchbox: The Movie, a new spy thriller that borrows from the infamous IP to craft a friendship-focused thriller with plenty of cool cars. John Cena plays Sean, an agent who gets framed for hijacking a nuclear bomb just as he's reuniting with his long-estranged middle school friends.

Unfortunately, that means his loved ones are roped into a high-stakes, life-or-death adventure that only Sean has the expertise to help them escape. Embroiled in the conspiracy — and bound by the friendship — are Aimee (Jessica Biel), Ted (Arturo Castro), Crosby (Sam Richardson), and Charmaine (Teyonah Parris). It is no coincidence, then, that the same four talented actors joined Cena in playing a round of WWXD with ScreenRant.

For the uninitiated, WWXD is a role-playing game in which cast members receive a silly or strange scenario connected to the project they are promoting, and they must explain how they would handle it, either as their own character or someone else's. In the case of Matchbox: The Movie, naturally, the actors were given heists and spy-adjacent situations to improvise their way out of. See how they did above!

Perhaps most humorously, Cena went full method when faced with a perfect heist opportunity, deciding that Sean would rather turn his friends in and send them to jail than allow them to turn to a life of crime. But not every cast member had his imaginary integrity, and Castro chose instead to get proficient in the language of Molotov cocktails, while Biel donned a Tom Cruise mask in her mind to distract any nearby villains.

Finally, Richardson and Parris were tasked with playing each other's characters — which was a fitting exercise, seeing as Crosby and Charmaine are a happily married couple who know each other inside and out in the movie.

Matchbox The Movie is now streaming on Apple TV.
