Hellraiser Is Officially Switching Genre October 2026

Consisting of eleven films and multiple comic books, video games and more, the Hellraiser franchise is one of the most iconic in horror history. The Horror Title Receives a Twist

Developed by Saber Interactive, the brains behind World War Z, Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival aims to put a twist on the franchise by offering a more action-focused experience as opposed to the slow horror that the series is famous for.

You will take on the role of Aidan, and be tasked with wielding "the powers of the Genesis Configuration puzzle box to survive your bargain with the infamous Pinhead" and soon discover that your suffering will become your legacy. By doing so, Aidan will be able to secure the release of his girlfriend, Sunny, as she fights to escape the otherworldly hellscape of the Labyrinth.

However, with a cult dedicated to the Cenobites doing everything in their power to stop you, you will have more than just Pinhead to contend with.

Pinhead Returns Next Month

As a new story in the Hellraiser canon, Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival is a love letter to the franchise so far, taking inspiration from the stories that have come before, yet adding a unique spin on the survival horror series. As such, players will be able to harness the power of the Configuration by wielding abilities and earthly weapons to inflict unimaginable pain on any who try to stop them.

Take on hell's wretches, deviants, cultists, and even its most infernal priests in a story-driven horror survival game.
