Nixi XS is white, and she's said so publicly after her name landed at No. 176 on Righteous Reg's annual Black Wrestlers 500 list. She thanked Reg for the recognition, then explained that the placement came from a mix-up about her background and that she didn't want to occupy a spot meant for a Black wrestler. Fans kept asking about it, and XS ended up calling the experience of having to identify herself as white in public humiliating. Somewhere in the middle of all that, she also mentioned being a big Grace Jones fan.

I can't believe I'm having to come out as white This is so humiliating, guys ????

Nixi XS Explains Why She Had To Correct Her Inclusion In The Black Wrestlers 500

Reg, who hosts Grapsody, puts the BW500 out every year to highlight Black wrestlers from around the world, men and women both. He started it in 2019 as a 250-person list and pushed it to 500 the next year.

Mercedes Mone topped the 2025 edition, which came out on October 31. XS sat well down this year's ranking, but she replied to the post anyway.

“Huge thank you for including me in such great company! But to clarify, I'm not black. Just a pale btch that's really into Grace Jones. I'd hate to take a spot from a deserving black wrestler due to any confusion.*”

The reason the list matters to a lot of people goes back to its origin. Reg has said he looked at the 2019 PWI 500 and found that only around six percent of the wrestlers listed were Black, and that's what got the BW250 started in the first place.

Five hundred names is a lot, but each one is supposed to belong there.

The Female Wrestler Calls Having To Come Out As White A Humiliating Experience

Her reply didn't settle things. Fans pressed her on her race after the first post, so XS went back with a second one.

“I can't believe I'm having to come out as white. This is so humiliating, guys,”XS wrote.

Reg hasn't been quoted in the exchange, and XS didn't ask to stay on the list in any form. She wanted the entry fixed, plain and simple, and the spot gone to someone else.

On the ring side, XS is still fairly early in her run but has been busy. She's worked for Glory Pro, took a match on AEW Collision, and was named in the field for a WWE ID women's title qualifier last November.
