Translate
  • Viavi Solutions (VIAV) said that the U.S. Army’s Threat Systems Management Office selected its T/Rx software-defined transceiver system to provide electromagnetic environments at test ranges opened to private industry.
  • The selection supports the Army’s initiative to give commercial developers access to five test ranges for developing drones, counter-drone systems, long-range weapons and low-cost interceptors.
  • The field-deployable system combines signal generation and collection to create realistic electromagnetic scenarios for defense technology testing.
  • The stock price traded about 2% lower on Tuesday pre-market hours.
