Egypt has called on regional countries to join forces to find peaceful solutions to the ongoing crisis and prevent it from escalating into a more dangerous phase.

Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty held separate phone calls with his Emirati and Saudi counterparts on Tuesday, October 27,2026 to discuss regional developments, growing risks of escalation, and efforts to resolve the ongoing crisis through peaceful means.

During his call with UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abdelatty stressed the need for regional countries to unite their efforts to reach peaceful solutions and bring all parties back to the political process.

This aims to prevent the crisis from escalating into a more dangerous phase amid the ongoing crisis, he added.

Meanwhile, Abdelatty and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan discussed the latest regional developments and efforts to contain the crisis amid rising risks of escalation. They underscored the need to advance political and peaceful solutions through dialogue.

Abdelatty and Prince Faisal also agreed to maintain close consultation and coordination both bilaterally and through the four-party ministerial mechanism comprising Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Pakistan.
