Around 5K job offers, 200 livelihood assistance offered in Malabon job fair

Around 5,000 career vacancies, skills training, government services, and livelihood opportunities were offered to residents, including senior citizens, during a job fair initiated by TRABAHO Party-List in Malabon City over the weekend.

A total of 1,061 individuals from Malabon City and nearby localities gained access to 4,888 local and overseas career offers, availed of 300 various government services, and enrolled in 65 skills training courses.

At least 200 livelihood assistance packages were also granted to aspiring micro-entrepreneurs during the "Serbisyong Pang-TRABAHO: Employment and Livelihood Caravan."

The initiative was carried out in close cooperation with the City Government of Malabon and the Malabon Public Employment Service Office (PESO) under the leadership of Mayor Jeannie Sandoval, Social Security System (SSS), Pag-IBIG Fund, Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Philippine National Police (PNP), Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), and Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

“Despite the political noise and the mounting challenges facing our country, TRABAHO Party-List stands with you, remaining steadfast and focused on the primary needs of the workers for a more prosperous future,” said Rep. Johanne Bautista.
