Remains of Dr Siti Hasmah taken from IJN to family residence in Seri Kembangan

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 28 — The remains of the late Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali were transported from the National Heart Institute (IJN) at 10.48am today to her residence in The Mines, Seri Kembangan, Selangor.

A Bernama observation at the IJN grounds revealed a sombre atmosphere enveloping the medical centre as the vehicle carrying the remains of the former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s wife departed for her home.

Family members seen at IJN included her children, Datin Paduka Marina Mahathir, Tan Sri Mokhzani Mahathir, and Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir.

Police personnel and IJN security guards were stationed at the entrance to manage the crowd and ensure smooth traffic flow.

Media personnel were also present to cover the event and obtain the latest updates.

As of now, IJN has not issued any statement regarding the passing of the late Dr Siti Hasmah.
