Big Brother UK announces major show first ahead of new-series launch this weekend

Big Brother UK has announced a big show first, with the series set to undergo a livestreamed "dry run" ahead of the new season launch this weekend. The reality show is due to return on Sunday (13 September) as viewers meet the new batch of housemates.
However, before that creators The Bov Boys are set to move in for a 24-hour stint for the test run, which was previously done behind closed doors by the team and for the first will be available to watch to the public.
The run will stream on Twitch, ITV Reality and YouTube from tomorrow (12 September) at 12pm.

The Bov Boys consists of I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! winner Angryginge alongside fellow creators Tays, Jakey Davies and Chazza, while the collective have also invited Adeola Patronne, Mariam Musa, Shauna Games, Scouse Mali and Pieface into the house.
Teasing "maximum mayhem" for Big Brother, the show further promised that the group will be "keeping the team on their toes and putting the House to the test in a way they certainly won’t have anticipated".
Alongside that first, Big Brother has also unveiled the new Diary Room chair, which is red and once again shaped like the eye logo, filled with red-hued balls.
The dry run with The Bov Boys comes after show co-host AJ Odudu recently teased that this year's main housemates will be on 'constant' surveillance.

"The story unfolds every single night. It's live. Everyone's under surveillance constantly," she told Digital Spy. "And so, the beautiful thing about this show is that the story unfolds as we see it. So, we're all being part of the history that I've no doubt it will make."
Further teasing the new season, Will Best added: "It's been a year since we were last on the screens, nearly. And we've used that time to plot and plan huge things.
"And, yeah, we're unbelievably excited to see what Big Brother has in store. Because I think every series that we've been doing, Big Brother has found his feet more and more, hasn't he?"
Big Brother returns on 13 September at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX. Big Brother: The Group Chat will air on ITV2, ITVX and YouTube, with episodes also available across major podcast platforms.
