A disagreement among popular content creators— Olivia Chukwu of Hair Tutorials and Lifestyle, Benny Omoedo and Jenny Slimzy— has spilled onto social media following Olivia’s account of feeling abandoned by her friends during a hospital stay.

The controversy has drawn attention to the trio’s relationship, which had appeared to extend beyond social media into their family lives, with the women publicly celebrating one another’s birthdays, husbands and children.

Olivia’s disappointment reportedly centred on her friends’ failure to check on her during her hospitalisation, a period when she expected concern and support from people she considered close to her.

Her account has sparked reactions from social media users, with some questioning how a seemingly close friendship reached a point where one party felt neglected during an illness.

However, videos subsequently released by Jenny and Benny have offered a different perspective on the dispute.

In her account, Jenny said she and Benny tried to reach Olivia through a conference call twice, but she did not answer. She added that she later called Olivia directly, and Olivia picked up before she included Benny in the conversation.

According to Jenny, Olivia’s explanation for missing the earlier calls was unclear. She said they had considered the possibility that Olivia was asleep, given that she was hospitalised and reportedly unwell.

Jenny also raised another grievance, alleging that Olivia and her husband, Samuel Chukwu, failed to wish her husband a happy birthday or send birthday greetings to her children, Kaima and Chimaobi.
