Flash flooding interrupts half-marathon, submerges cars

Parts of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut were hit by flash flooding leading to water rescues, stranded motorists and half-marathon runners struggling through waist-deep flood waters. Connecticut officials said parts of the state saw up to seven inches of rain in a very short period of time, according to the BBC's partner, CBS News.
