Hot weather returns to Egypt on Tuesday

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) forecasts that Tuesday’s weather will be slightly hot during the day along the northern coasts, hot in Greater Cairo and northern Upper Egypt, and intensely hot in southern Upper Egypt.

Mild, autumn-like conditions will prevail during the morning hours and at night across most regions.

• Northwestern coasts: 27C 
• Northeastern coasts: 29C 
• Lower Egypt: 30C 
• Greater Cairo: 31C 
• Northern Upper Egypt: 34C
• Southern Upper Egypt: 40C

Chance of Light Rain

Weather forecasts indicate a likelihood of light rain, occasionally moderate, across different areas of the North Coast governorates, Lower Egypt, and parts of the Western Desert; this activity may extend weakly to Greater Cairo, central Sinai, and the far south of Upper Egypt.

The EMA forecasts windy conditions across most areas—particularly at night—with speeds ranging from 30 to 40 km/h; this is expected to help moderate the weather and make nighttime temperatures feel cooler.
