The family of 28-year-old Gracious Nkomo has positively identified her as the woman whose body was discovered along the R21 in Kempton Park.
Nkomo, whose missing person posters were widely distributed on social media, is one of nine women whose lifeless bodies were found in Ekurhuleni over the past two months.
She was found partially clothed on 10 September.
Police confirmed that Nkomo was identified by her family at the Germiston Mortuary on Thursday.
This brings the total number of identified women to four including; Elizabeth “Tsontso” Moselakgomo who was identified as one of the bodies found in Rhodesfield, Kempton Park; Itumeleng Kekana whose body was found in Pomona, Kempton Park; and Dineo Evelyn Motapane whose body was found in KwaThema, Springs.
The other five women remain unidentified.
