On Halloween eve Netflix has announced a Season 3 renewal for its popular animated series Haunted Hotel. It’s slated to premiere in 2027.

The renewal comes amid solid viewership for the series. Season 2 debuted on the Global English TV Top 10 list and season 1 has over 15 million views since its September 2025 release, according to Netflix.

Created by Matt Roller (Rick & Morty), in Season 2, a single mother tries to run the world’s most haunted hotel with her ghost brother, two kids, a demon trapped in a little boy’s body, and an ever growing collection of ghosts, monsters, and supernatural disasters.

Cast includes Will Forte, Eliza Coupe, Skyler Gisondo, Natalie Palamides and Jimmi Simpson.

“I’m so excited to invite viewers back to the Undervale!, said Roller. “Season three is full of the biggest, funniest, scariest, saddest, and Abaddoniest stories we’ve ever told, and I can’t wait for everyone to see them. Candles!”

Roller executive produces with Chris McKenna, Rick and Morty co-creator Dan Harmon and Steve Levy. Erica Hayes (Rick & Morty) is supervising director. Titmouse will serve as the studio with Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio and Ben Kalina also executive producing.
