After five days, the dam’s elevation leapt further to 181.37 masl on Aug. 15. On Aug. 21, it further increased to 190.10 masl.

However, the latest 191.53 masl is still 18.47 meters below Angat’s normal high-water elevation of 210 masl.

On Aug. 8, Angat dam levels were measured at 159.29 masl, which was close to its low critical elevation of 160 masl.

The Angat elevation was 212 masl, or its normal high-water elevation in December 2025 and January this year. /coa
