Europa League: Beşiktaş Ready For Crystal Palace Showdown — Ndidi

Wilfred Ndidi has expressed confidence in Beşiktaş’ readiness for their UEFA Europa League encounter against Crystal Palace at the Tüpraş Stadium on Thursday (today).

The Turkish Super Lig side have made an impressive start to their European campaign, remaining unbeaten in the group phase.

Beşiktaş opened their campaign with a commanding 4-1 victory over French club Olympique Marseille, before securing a 3-2 away win against Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim.

Ndidi Confident Of Victory Over Palace

Ndidi is optimistic that his team can maintain their winning momentum when they host the Premier League outfit, insisting that the squad is prepared for the challenge.

“We are first and foremost a team, and we’ll be playing at home tomorrow. Our home is our temple, I can say that. We’re really working hard. Tomorrow (today), we’ll also be facing a good team. That’s our plan,” Ndidi told a press conference.

Wary Of Premier League Intensity

He also acknowledged the intensity associated with English teams but maintained that Beşiktaş have the experience and quality to compete against strong opposition.

“Teams coming from England are accustomed to high tempo and intensity, but we’ve played against good teams before, and we still are.

“So we’re ready, and we need to keep going. I’m really looking forward to tomorrow, I can say that,” he added.

Beşiktaş currently occupy fourth place in the Europa League standings, while Crystal Palace sit in 15th.
