As part of the California leg of its “No Roads” flight tour, Archer Aviation’s (ACHR) all-electric Midnight air taxi completed multiple flights over San Francisco Bay, taking off and landing at Oakland International Airport.
Reaching speeds of 131 mph, Midnight completed the flight between Oakland International and San Francisco’s Marina District in roughly 10 minutes, a trip that typically takes over an hour by car in traffic.

The “No Roads” tour highlights Archer’s (ACHR) ability to operate in an urban airspace served by the Bay Area’s three international airports.
The company plans to fly its Midnight air taxi in Los Angeles next as part of its preparation to operate under the Trump Administration’s electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) Integration Pilot Program (eIPP).
"Flying Midnight across multiple cities in Northern California shows we can connect communities with no roads, no traffic, and no emissions in minutes instead of hours. That's the future we're working towards bringing to the Bay Area, Los Angeles and cities across the country,” Archer Aviation founder and CEO Adam Goldstein said in a press release.
Shares of eVTOL stocks are higher in premarket trading.
