Valentin Vacherot reached his first final of 2026, and the second of his career, by beating sixth seed Taylor Fritz of the United States 7-6 (5), 6-3 at the Swiss Indoors on Saturday.
Vacherot, who represents Monaco, won the Shanghai Masters last year in his only other title match.

On Sunday, he will play Jiri Lehecka for the title after the eighth-seeded Czech defeated Jan-Lennard Struff of Germany 3-6, 7-5, 6-4.
Struff had earlier eliminated Novak Djokovic from the tournament.
Vacherot and Lehecka share spoils when it comes to the head-to-head record. Both have met twice before, with the players taking one win apiece. The most recent meeting was earlier this year at the ATP 500 Japan Open, where Lehecka won 6-4, 6-2 in the semifinals.
