Roger Waters and Harry Waters Announce Pink Floyd Legacy 2027 Tour, Reveal Lead Singer

After an open call, Roger Waters and his son Harry Waters have revealed the singer for the upcoming tour “Roger Waters Presents LEGACY – A Pink Floyd Show,” and have announced a massive run of 2027 North American dates for the outing.

The extensive 58-date tour is split into two legs, with the first kicking off February 15th in Columbus, Georgia, and running through a May 2nd show in Wilmington, North Carolina. The second leg launches August 31st in Vancouver, and wraps up September 25th in St. Louis.

A pre-sale is under way via Ticketmaster, with a general on-sale starting Friday, October 2nd, at 10 a.m. local time.

Back in April, Roger and Harry put out word that they were looking for a singer to front the project, with Roger stating, “My son Harry Waters has put a great band and show together to go on the road next year to pay tribute to the music from the golden era of Pink Floyd, and maybe a couple of songs from my subsequent solo career. Harry’s band is missing one thing: The voice I had when I was young.”

After sorting through 3,000 submissions, Roger and Harry settled on Clifton David Broadbridge, a singer who was born in Canada and settled in Nashville. He got the job after auditioning in person with Harry while the latter had a day off from the recent “Claypool Gold Tour.”

An official description of the tour reads as follows:

“Roger Waters Presents LEGACY – A Pink Floyd Show is an all-new live production celebrating the defining music and visual world of Pink Floyd’s golden era from 1971-1979. Created under the direction of Roger Waters with a band led by his son Harry Waters, a longtime touring musician, pianist and composer, LEGACY features a world-class 10-piece band performing the ground breaking songs from The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals and The Wall. Harry, who spent more than 15 years performing alongside his father, serves as musical director and leads the band on B3 organ, piano and vocals. Musically, the production aims to recreate the original recordings as closely as possible, while the stage presentation shaped by Roger’s team features a pictorial retrospective of imagery inspired by the original Pink Floyd work, including visuals Roger created during his tenure as the band’s creative force, all presented on high-definition LED video screens. Spanning more than two hours, LEGACY reaches deep into Pink Floyd’s catalog and celebrates the music that defined a generation, music that is just as relevant today.”

Roger stated, “These songs have meant so much to so many people for so many years, and I’m excited for audiences to come together and experience them live again. Harry has assembled a terrific band, and I can’t wait for fans around the world to see the special show we’ve created together.”

Harry added, “I fell in love with the music immediately. It really had an impact on me, irrespective of any bias because it was Dad’s music. I still love it deeply to this day. Collaborating with Dad on this new production is such an honor, and I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to bring this music to fans old and new, around the world.”

The band lineup for the tour will include Harry Waters (B3 organ, piano, vocals), Clifton David Broadbridge (lead vocals), Graham Broad (drums) Edo Scordo (guitar, vocals). Antonello Pudva (guitar), Eva Avila (backing vocals), Genevieve Little (backing vocals), Dahniel Knight (bass, backing vocals), Ryan Saranich (saxophone, percussion, guitar, keyboard), and Matt Riddle (keyboards).

Roger Waters will not be performing on the tour but is a major creative force behind the staging.
