Olivia Culpo Reacts to Comments About Her Pregnancy Weight Gain
Pregnant Olivia Culpo Gives Special Look at Baby No. 2's Nursery With Christian McCaffrey
Olivia Culpo has no time for comments about her pregnant body.
The former Miss Universe addressed online chatter about the weight she's put on since announcing that she and husband Christian McCaffrey are expecting their second baby together.
"I want to talk about pregnancy weight gain," Culpo began in a Sept. 23 TikTok video. "I feel like everybody's always so surprised by like, 'Oh my god, she really blows up.'"
"I take a lot of pride in the fact that I am growing a baby," she continued. "Every time I see that I'm growing, I always think that my baby's growing—and that means that my baby's healthy."
In fact, Culpo—who is already mom to 14-month-old daughter Colette with McCaffrey—said there's "no need to be worried about pregnancy weight gain."
"These days, everybody's getting skinny," she continued, before reminding other pregnant women like herself that "you're doing the most selfless thing that you could ever do for the best reason ever."
"A lot of people—including myself—compare, like, 'Oh, this person got so skinny so fast,'" she continued. "You don't know if that person was breastfeeding. You don't know what that person's supply was like. You don't know what that person's labor was like. The only thing you can control is what you're doing as a mother for your child. Everything else is just noise."
Besides, Culpo, 34, knows she's got a strong support system in McCaffrey, 30, to "bounce back" after her pregnancy.
"Christian is so in shape and he's just so annoyingly perfect in every single way," the Culpo Sisters star quipped. "Even he says, 'You have to give yourself a year.'"
Calling her changing body the "most vulnerable part" of pregnancy, Culpo added, "This is all part of the beautiful sacrifice of motherhood."

But Culpo won't have her bump for much longer. After all, she and McCaffrey have scheduled a C-section so their baby's birth doesn't coincide with a game during the ongoing NFL season.
“I scheduled it on a day where Christian has a slightly easier [schedule]," Culpo explained in a July TikTok. “Basically, it’s on an off-day for him, so he’ll be able to come just for the birth. And then, aside from that, he’ll have to go back."
