It was a good week for a first-time PGA Tour winner, and Austin Smotherman got the job done in the desert.
The 32-year-old earned his first PGA Tour win, claiming the title at the 2026 Bank of Utah Championship on Sunday at Black Desert Resort in Ivins, Utah. Smotherman led going into the final round and never relinquished his advantage. He topped Doug Ghim by two shots, finishing at 26 under.

With the win comes job security and a seven-figure payday, too.
