EXCLUSIVE: Tony Revolori (Primetime), Audrina Miranda (Jurassic World Rebirth), Maria Gabriella de Faria (Superman) and Lou Lou Safran (Shazam) are set to star in coming-of-age indie movie Night At The Oasis, which will shoot on 35mm.

Written and directed by Kim Caicedo, cast also includes Marcela Carvajal, Alysia Reiner, Connor Apolo, Ken Kirby, Noen Perez, and Nishta Cattinari.

Filming is being lined up for this winter on the movie which is based on real events and will follow “an eleven year old girl named Lilly (Miranda) who must learn to navigate the world by herself when she is accidentally left behind at a gas station while traveling with her truck-driver father (Revolori).

Stated Caicedo: “This story came from real life, which is wonderful for storytelling and terrible for the people who have to live it. I wanted to honor that experience without losing the humor and messiness that make it real.”

The project is getting support from the LA and Atlanta Kodak teams, as well as Panavision. Jessica Arzate will be DoP.

“Shooting on film feels right for this story because I want the images to have a pulse, the feeling that you’re looking at a memory, unpredictable, and impossible to rewind like life is.” said Caicedo.

Pic is being produced by Heliya Alam of LBM Pictures, Warner Davis of Hemlock Circle Productions, Caijo Films, alongside Alvaro Gutierrez of Agora Films and Nicolas Troya of Troya Films. Tony Revolori is also producing.
