UTA Signs ‘Club Kid’ Star Reggie Absolom

EXCLUSIVE: United Talent Agency is now representing young British actor Reggie Absolom in all areas.

Absolom steals the screen in Jordan Firstman’s feature directorial debut Club Kid, playing the surprise son, Arlo, to Firstman’s NYC club event and bacchanalian protag.

The movie made its world premiere at Cannes in Un Certain Regard, receiving a seven-minute standing ovation, and was one of the few English-speaking titles to surprise on the Croisette; A24 beating others for the pic’s global rights with a high teens bid. The movie will hit theaters states in a limited release on Nov. 6. Post Cannes, it stands at 100% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes off 45 reviews. Diego Calva, and Cara Delevingne also star in Club Kid.

On TV, Absolom portrays Benny in season 2 of Apple TV+’s sci-fi series Silo, opposite Rebecca Ferguson, Common, and Harriet Walter. He also appears as George Gardiner in the BBC’s adaptation, The Other Bennet Sister, starring opposite Ruth Jones and Richard E. Grant.

His additional credits include the short film Fly! as well as Slick Films’s award-winning Dressed to the Nines, in which he stars opposite Daniel Ings.
