2 dead in motorcycle-related accidents in Pangasinan

Two persons died in separate accidents involving motorcycles in San Carlos City, Pangasinan.

In a report by GMA Regional TV One North Central Luzon on Wednesday, the accident that occurred in Barangay Agdao resulted in the death of a 51-year old tricycle driver and serious injury to a rider after their vehicles collided.

Due to the strength of the impact, the tricycle’s sidecar separated from the rest of the vehicle while the motorcycle was heavily damaged.

The tricycle driver was declared dead on arrival at a hospital while the motorcycle is in critical condition.

Police said the families of both parties have already discussed the matter.

Meanwhile in Barangay Mamarlao in the same city, a 28–year old motorcycle driver died in another accident.

Investigation revealed the rider lost control of his motorcycle along a curved portion of the road.

Police said the rider struck a concrete barrier. He passed away while being rushed to a hospital.

Efforts are being made to get a comment from the victim’s family. —RF, GMA News
