Amazon Prime members are in for one hell of a treat this month, as they can now play one of 2025's best RPGs, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, for free. The game is available through Luna, Amazon's cloud gaming service, which is included with every Amazon Prime subscription.

Last month, Prime members got access to Star Wars: Galactic Racer through Luna, and now Amazon is giving subscribers another reason to check out the service with the addition of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II.

In this sequel to Warhorse Studios 2018 cult hit, players once again step into the boots of Henry, the son of a blacksmith who finds himself caught up in the political turmoil of 15th-century Bohemia. In the service of Sir Hans Capon and Radzig Kobyla, Henry's journey takes him through a kingdom torn apart by civil war, with plenty of battles, political espionage, and knightly misadventures along the way. The RPG received plenty of praise when it launched in 2025, with critics particularly impressed by its immersive world, sharp writing, and excellent performances.

"A thrilling story-driven action RPG, with a rich open world, set in 15th century Medieval Europe," reads the official description. "Experience the ultimate medieval adventure - through the eyes of young Henry - as you embark on a journey of epic proportions."

Now, if you haven't played the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance, you might not need to. The sequel provides a pretty solid recap of past events and a serviceable explanation for why Henry is starting practically from scratch. Kingdom Come: Deliverance II also improves on many of the original's mechanics and systems while introducing new areas to explore, with the living, breathing city of Kuttenberg being its crown jewel. There's plenty to keep you busy outside the main story, too. You can improve your proficiency with swords, bows, and horseback riding, romance a variety of well-written characters, or simply spend an evening drinking in a tavern. How you experience Bohemia is pretty much up to you.

"Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will inspire anyone willing to afford it patience," we wrote in our 9/10 review at the time. "And they'll be rewarded by an open-world game with so much more to offer than cut-and-paste fetch quests and dungeons. It's a real-deal action RPG, an elegant European history lesson, and a solid simulation whose boundaries are worth testing and teasing until they break."

There is a catch, though. Kingdom Come: Deliverance II isn't yours to keep, and you'll only be able to play it through Luna's cloud streaming service rather than downloading it to your PC. The offer also doesn't include any of the game's three post-launch expansions, so you'll need to purchase the full game and its DLC separately if you want the full experience. Otherwise, you'll have to make do with the more than 100 hours of content in the base game. Still, considering this was one of last year's Game of the Year contenders and currently holds an 89 on Metacritic, it's a pretty great deal for Prime members.
