The Inbetweeners 3 set photos confirm extra cast returns and a wedding

New set photos for the third Inbetweeners movie have emerged, confirming a few extra cast returns. The long-speculated film was confirmed earlier this month, with Will, Simon, Jay and Neil set to reunite on Netflix.

With production now underway, some set pictures have surfaced showing regular stars Simon Bird, Joe Thomas, James Buckley and Blake Harrison in wedding attire (via Daily Mail).

Also confirmed to be returning in the snaps are Emily Head as Carli D'Amato and Martin Trenaman as Simon's dad Alan Cooper.

Among the new cast unveiled through the pictures are Big Mood's Marina Bye as the bride, House of the Dragon's Ewan Mitchell as a vicar, as well as The Housemaid's Hannah Cruz, We Live in Time's Marama Corlett, Vikings' Tadhg Murphy and Bugonia's Vanessa Eng

It is unclear whose wedding is taking place, though given Simon's dad is in attendance, a good bet could be that Joe Thomas's character is the one to tie the knot.

It is also unclear whether Emily Atack will be back as Charlotte Hinchcliffe, with reports suggesting bosses are keen to get the star to return. However, given her busy schedule these days with the likes of Rivals, we'll have to see.

Meanwhile, Buckley appeared to give away a massive spoiler recently in a TikTok post, with the actor seen on set sporting a jacket with 'Cartwright Plant', suggesting Jay may be working for his dad these days.

The new Inbetweeners movie is being written and directed by show creators Damon Beesley and Iain Morris, who released a statement on the return earlier this month.

"It's been super-fun hanging out with our friends again, and we're going to work hard every week to ensure there are no problemos making this new film for humans," they said.

The Inbetweeners 3 does not yet have a release date.
