The Executive Director, Corporate Services, of the Niger Delta Development Commission, Ifedayo Abegunde, has called on youths and other stakeholders in the Niger Delta to mobilise massive support for President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
Abegunde said Tinubu deserved a second term in office, arguing that the economic reforms of the current administration were beginning to yield positive results and should be consolidated.
This was contained in a statement issued by his media aide, Yusuf Olamide, on Saturday.
According to the statement, Abegunde spoke in Arogbo community, Ese-Odo Local Government Area of Ondo State, on Wednesday at a reception organised in his honour following his conferment with a traditional chieftaincy title by the Agadagba of Arogbo Kingdom, Zacchaeus Egbunu.

“I want to appeal to our youths in the Niger Delta region and other regions of this country to take an active interest in the ongoing political process and turn out in large numbers to vote for the re-election of President Tinubu in 2027.”
The NDDC director, who described youth development as critical to the sustainable development of the region, unveiled an empowerment initiative of N50,000 for 50 youths in the Niger Delta community.
