Official: Supercoppa Italiana Inter vs. Lazio at San Siro on December 22

It has been confirmed that the Supercoppa Italiana for the 2026/27 season will be a one-off match between Inter and Lazio played at San Siro on December 22, scrapping the Final Four format.
The last four editions of the tournament have been played in Saudi Arabia, but the nation declined its option for hosting rights this season.
Supercoppa Italiana scraps Final Four
Of those, three were using the Final Four format, where they played semi-finals between the winners of the Scudetto and Coppa Italia runners-up, and the winners of the Cup and second-placed team in Serie A.
Whoever won then went head-to-head for the Final and to lift the trophy.
That format has been scrapped for this season, so the Supercoppa Italiana goes back to being a one-off match.
This was helped by the fact that Inter won both the Coppa Italia and the Scudetto, so it is effectively a replay of that Coppa Italia Final from May 2026.
The Lega Serie A announced it will be hosted at San Siro on the evening of December 22.
