‘Ramayana' makers drop Lara Dutta’s first look as Kaikeyi and Sheeba Chadha as Manthara, ahead of Diwali 2026 release

The makers of ‘Ramayana’ has released two fresh character posters, with Lara Dutta playing Queen Kaikeyi and Sheeba Chadha as Manthara. The posters spotlight two crucial figures and hint at the turn of events that will alter Lord Rama’s destiny forever.

These reveals come after the unveiling of Arun Govil as King Dashrath, adding to the ensemble of the two-part epic.

Govil, who made Lord Ram a household image for generations on television, now returns to the world of ‘Ramayana’ as the King of Ayodhya.Lara’s Kaikeyi appears in a regal look, dressed in elaborate traditional attire and jewellery that reflect her status as the Queen of Ayodhya. Sheeba Chadha’s Manthara, on the other hand, has a strikingly different look, with the actor shown holding a staff in her character poster.
