Razali Idris hints at leaving Bersatu for 'new platform'

Translate

KUALA LUMPUR: Former Terengganu Bersatu chief Datuk Razali Idris has hinted at leaving the party, saying he would move forward on a "new platform".

The development comes less than 2 months after he stepped down as Terengganu Bersatu chairman on Aug 8.

"Ten years as a Bersatu leader ends today.

"God willing, I will move forward with a new platform," he said in a Facebook post.

However, he did not disclose why he was leaving Bersatu or identify the party or platform he intended to join.

Last month, Razali said he remained a Bersatu member despite relinquishing his position as the party's Terengganu chief.

He had also denied speculation that he had joined Perikatan Nasional component Parti Pejuang Tanahair (Pejuang).
