From topping the charts to selling out stadiums, Bad Bunny has made Puerto Rico central to just about everything he does. His Adidas partnership is no exception, and the latest addition to his sneaker lineup takes its cues from one of the island’s most familiar sights: a Caribbean sunset.

The Bad Bunny x Adidas Originals Gazelle Indoor Solar Gold launches Saturday, Oct. 17, at 10 a.m. ET for $140, with availability through Adidas.com, the confirmed app and select retailers. Sign-ups opened Oct. 13.

The latest Gazelle arrives in rich honey-yellow suede, complemented by leather lining, Adidas’ signature Three Stripes and a classic gum outsole. It’s a relatively understated design compared with some of Bad Bunny’s more experimental footwear releases, but the inspiration is anything but random.

Featuring premium suede and leather lining, the $140 sneakers launch Oct. 17.

Since introducing his first reimagined Gazelle in 2024, the Puerto Rican superstar has treated the sneaker as another way to tell stories about home.

His blue “San Juan” edition honored Puerto Rico’s cultural ties to New York through Casa Amadeo, while the subsequent Gazelle City Series explored the island’s landscapes and neighborhoods. Released during his 2025 Puerto Rican residency, the collection included green sneakers inspired by El Yunque rainforest, orange for Santurce and pink for Cabo Rojo’s salt flats.

The releases reflect a larger theme throughout his career: bringing Puerto Rican culture to a global audience without losing sight of where it all started.

That approach has certainly resonated with listeners. Bad Bunny recently secured the No. 1 spot on Billboard‘s Greatest of All Time Hot Latin Songs Artists ranking, released in celebration of the chart’s 40th anniversary. It’s another milestone for an artist whose music, fashion collaborations and cultural influence increasingly go hand in hand.

Now, with Solar Gold, Bad Bunny is adding another chapter to his Adidas catalog, one that feels distinctly connected to the island that continues to shape his work.
