Emmerdale sets up Robert Sugden's downfall as Sadie King meddles

Things may take a sour turn for Emmerdale's Robert Sugden after he made the decision to double-cross Sadie King.
Tuesday's episode (13 October) of the ITV soap saw Robert (Ryan Hawley) preparing for the reopening of The Hide after he convinced Gabby Thomas to sell it to him last week, but it seems his scheming could end up backfiring.
His efforts to reopen The Hide seemed slightly ambitious as Gabby (Rosie Bentham) informed him that it would take at least four weeks to get the permits that he needs.

During their impromptu conversation in the village, Gabby offered to help Robert out by suggesting that he reopen with her still listed as the owner.
"There is no chance you're gonna open tomorrow," she told him, before adding: "I've not had the chance to cancel everything yet so the permits, safety certificates, licenses, they're all still valid but they're just in my name.
"Not exactly legal, so you'd have to keep me on the payroll, officially at least, I'd be more than happy with a zero-hour contract."
Robert seemed chuffed by the offer and branded Gabby a "lifesaver" but she might end up double-crossing him after her conversation with Sadie (Patsy Kensit).
Towards the end of the episode, Sadie was seen meddling once again as she insinuated to Gabby that Robert had tricked her into selling The Hide to him.
Sadie is feeling burned after she and Robert were supposed to be working together to get their hands on the late Jimmy King's missing money.

"You sold him The Hide didn't you?" Sadie asked Gabby, before adding: "I just thought you were a bit more savvy than that... the man whose been convincing you that it couldn't be rescued."
Despite Gabby telling her she wasn't interested in what she had to say, Sadie continued: "I bet you sold it for a knocked down price didn't you? That man's a shark, he's just out for blood!"
Gabby was then left contemplating the idea that she might have been played by Robert. So if he does reopen The Hide with her still listed as the owner, will she look to get her revenge?
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 8pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
