Mr. and Mrs. Darcy will most ardently return to screens on Netflix in a new limited series adaptation of “Pride and Prejudice.”

Netflix has announced that the limited series adaptation of the iconic novel will debut on Dec. 3. Netflix has also unveiled first look photos, which can be seen below.

The official logline for the 6-part series reads: “When wealthy bachelors arrive in their neighbourhood, the five Bennet sisters must navigate love, family, and society’s expectations to secure their futures. Jane falls for the charming Mr. Bingley, while Elizabeth clashes with his proud friend Mr. Darcy – but unexpected encounters and family scandals force Elizabeth to reconsider her feelings and discover the true nature of love.”

The series is written by Dolly Alderton (author of “Everything I Know About Love”) and directed by Euros Lyn (“Heartstopper”). It is produced by Lisa Osborne and executive produced by Laura Lankester, Will Johnston and Louise Mutter for Lookout Point, Dolly Alderton, Euros Lyn and Emma Corrin.
