Translate

Shop owners and cleanup crews cleared debris and repaired vandalised storefronts in Paris on Monday, after two nights of rioting and looting left shops damaged across the city.

News text: Shop owners in Paris continued cleaning up and repairing their businesses on Monday after rioting and looting left storefronts damaged and streets strewn with debris.

Footage shows workers sweeping up shattered glass, clearing rubbish and repairing vandalised shopfronts as residents and cleanup crews work to restore the affected areas.

Ouri Zagoury, whose video game stores near Place de la République were looted on Saturday, said groups had been entering and leaving his shops for hours. He said he had called the police but was unable to stop the looting himself.

Zagoury said the cleanup was an attempt to bring some order back and move forward after the damage.
