Serie A | Bologna 1-1 Torino: Palladino debut ruined by Skorupski howler

Raffaele Palladino started his Bologna tenure with a disappointing draw to Torino, as the Lukasz Skorupski howler cancelled out Federico Bernardeschi’s opener.
The Rossoblu sacked Domenico Tedesco after scraping one point from the opening four rounds, failing to score in the other three matches. Artem Dovbyk was still out of action, but Riccardo Orsolini and Oussama El Azzouzi returned to the bench. Toro also lost three of the first four rounds, but managed to beat Fiorentina, and were missing Che Adams, Pietro Pellegri and Franco Israel, though Cesare Casadei was on the road to recovery.
See how it all unfolded on the Liveblog.

The first goal of the Palladino era was scored by Bernardeschi, who finished off from 12 yards on the Juan Miranda cross after Nicolò Cambiaghi had robbed Daniel Bragança in midfield to go on the counter.

Tommaso Pobega robbed Rolando Mandragora on the edge of the area, but then took too long to get the shot away, allowing Kian Fitz-Jim to fling himself in the way of the finish from 12 yards.

Mandragora’s free kick forced a tricky save, but Bernardeschi almost made it 2-0 on a Juan Miranda counter-attack with his curler flashing inches wide of the far post.
Torino’s pressure instead finally paid off when Lorenzo De Silvestri gave it away in midfield, Sandro Kulenovic surged forward, and his low drive squirmed through the weak hands of Skorupski. It will go down as a howler from the goalkeeper, not his first of the season.
