Fuerza Regida Tease Involvement in Grand Theft Auto VI Following Soundtrack Leak

Fuerza Regida appear to be teasing their involvement in Grand Theft Auto VI, days after a Spotify leak seemingly revealed the Mexican-American group as one of the artists featured on the game’s official soundtrack album.
On Wednesday, October 7th, the group shared a short video on Instagram featuring frontman Jesús Ortiz Paz driving a black Ferrari. The clip repeatedly draws attention to the car’s custom license plate, which reads “VICE CITY” and features “LEONIDA” across the top — direct references to the city and fictional state where Grand Theft Auto VI takes place.

The teaser arrives just days after Fuerza Regida’s name briefly appeared on Spotify’s listing for Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album. Rockstar Games reporter Ben (@videotech) was among the first to spot the apparent reveal, which listed the group as the artist attached to the still-unrevealed Track 10 and Cardi B behind Track 19.
Rockstar Games and Atlantic Records have so far revealed six of the album’s 34 original songs. The confirmed artists include Puerto Rican star Rauw Alejandro with “Macacoa 2000,” while Argentine duo CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso appear alongside PinkPantheress, Fred again.., and Etienne de Crécy on “Sexy Magic.”
If confirmed, Fuerza Regida would bring música mexicana into a soundtrack that is already shaping up to have a notable Latin presence. The San Bernardino-based group have become one of the genre’s biggest crossover acts in recent years, helping push corridos and regional Mexican music further into the U.S. mainstream while repeatedly reaching the upper tiers of the Billboard 200.
Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album arrives November 19th alongside the game. Meanwhile, check out the Fuerza Regida teaser below.
