Roma have reached an agreement with Emanuele Lulli to extend his contract until June 2031, rewarding the teenager for his rapid breakthrough under Gian Piero Gasperini.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the deal is in place and the 19-year-old will sign after Saturday’s trip to Napoli. His previous contract was due to expire in June 2027, and Roma were keen to secure his future with several foreign clubs showing interest.
Forzaroma reports that the deal will start at around €300,000 a year and rise to roughly €1m with bonuses over the length of the contract. It is effectively his first professional deal.

It has been a remarkable few months for the full-back, who was close to joining Avellino on loan in the summer before Gasperini decided to keep him. He has since become part of the rotation, earned a place in the Italy Under-21 setup and scored his first Serie A goal in last weekend’s 2-0 win over Genoa.
Roma were determined to avoid a repeat of the summer, when academy product Alessandro Romano left the club. Lulli was born in Palestrina and has come through the youth system at Trigoria.
He could start at the Maradona on Saturday, although TMW reports that Nahuel Molina is currently ahead of him on the right.
