Heirs Insurance deploys Prince AI for multilingual insurance services

Translate

Heirs Insurance Group has expanded its digital operations with the launch of Prince AI, a generative artificial intelligence assistant designed to help customers access insurance information and complete key policy-related transactions.

The insurer said the new platform combines automated assistance with multilingual capabilities, enabling customers to interact with the company in several local and international languages.

Prince AI is accessible through WhatsApp, the SimpleLife Mobile App and the Heirs Insurance website, giving customers multiple entry points to the service.

According to Heirs Insurance, the platform can respond to questions about its insurance offerings as well as provide general guidance on insurance, including information on coverage, policy options and customers’ potential insurance needs.

The AI assistant also supports transactions beyond basic enquiries. Customers can use it to purchase or renew policies, begin the claims process and obtain updates on claims that have already been submitted.

The company said Prince AI supports English, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese and Chinese, alongside other languages.

Heirs Insurance described the multilingual feature as part of its effort to make insurance services more accessible to a broader range of customers, particularly those who prefer to communicate in languages other than English.

Chief Digital Officer of Heirs Insurance Group, Peace Okhianmhense-Philips, said the company is deploying generative AI to improve the speed of customer interactions and simplify access to insurance information.

She said the technology represents another phase of the group’s digital transformation strategy, with the objective of making customer support more responsive and easier to navigate.

The insurer added that Prince AI uses adaptive intelligence to improve its responses based on interactions with users, with the aim of delivering increasingly relevant information.

Despite the expanded role of automation, customers will continue to have access to human representatives when they require personalised assistance or more detailed explanations.

The model therefore combines AI-driven responses for routine requests with human support for situations requiring individual attention.

Heirs Insurance has integrated Prince AI into its existing digital ecosystem rather than requiring customers to use a separate platform. This allows users to access AI-supported services through channels already used for interacting with the insurer.

The initiative comes as Heirs Insurance Group approaches its fifth anniversary and continues to invest in digital tools aimed at expanding insurance access and improving customer experience.
