The novel, written by the Nobel Prize-winning author and said to draw inspiration from his own life, is one of Steinbeck's most enduring works. Set against the backdrop of California's Salinas Valley, the story explores the intertwined lives of the Trask and Hamilton families, with generations of love, rivalry, and betrayal shaping their complicated relationships.
At the center of this sweeping story is Cathy Ames, played by Florence Pugh, a deeply complicated woman whose arrival has a deep impact on the people around her. As the lives of the two families become increasingly intertwined, East of Eden explores questions of morality and the seemingly endless struggle between good and evil. The series also boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Challengers' Mike Faist, Poor Things' Christopher Abbott, and Warrior's Hoon Lee. 'Hollywood Arts' (2026)

Fans of Victorious have a reason to return to Hollywood Arts High School. The beloved Nickelodeon sitcom, which ran for four seasons before coming to an end in 2013, is getting a spin-off. Hollywood Arts premieres on Netflix on October 15, bringing Daniella Monet back as Trina Vega, Tori Vega's (Victoria Justice) older sister, for a new chapter in her life.
Trina may have spent years dreaming of becoming a successful actor, but her big break still hasn’t arrived. Instead, she finds herself returning to the very school where she once chased her own performing-arts dreams. This time, however, she isn't there as a student. When Trina takes a job as a substitute teacher at Hollywood Arts High School, she suddenly finds herself responsible for guiding a new generation of ambitious young performers; however, Trina may not exactly be the most qualified person for the job. As she attempts to navigate her new role, she finds herself surrounded by talented students with big dreams of their own. With plenty of familiar nostalgia and a whole new group of students to meet, Hollywood Arts offers fans a chance to revisit the iconic school while seeing Trina take on a completely different role.
'The Diplomat' Season 4 (2023–Present)

On The Diplomat, Ambassador Kate Wyler (Keri Russell) and her husband, Vice President Hal Wyler (Rufus Sewell), have never exactly had a simple marriage. Based on the trailer, Season 4 is set to put their relationship under even more pressure when the political drama returns on October 15.
At the end of Season 3, Kate and Hal appear to be moving toward a better place, but that progress quickly comes into question when Kate begins to suspect that her husband and President Grace Penn (Allison Janney) have been working behind her back. Their increasingly close relationship raises even more questions when First Gentleman Todd Penn (Bradley Whitford) points out the connection between Grace and Hal. Meanwhile, a catastrophic event threatens to destroy the fragile peace Kate has worked to establish between the United States and the United Kingdom.
'Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2' (2026)

If you're looking for an anime that combines breathtaking animation, brutal action, and a story that will leave you emotionally wrecked, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is absolutely worth adding to your watchlist. Set in the dystopian world of Cyberpunk 2077, the series takes viewers into Night City, a metropolis where corporations control nearly every aspect of life and survival often comes down to how much you can afford.
The first season follows David Martinez (Kenn), a teenager struggling to survive at the bottom of Night City's corporate hierarchy. After tragedy pushed him toward the city's criminal underworld, David joins a crew of edgerunners, mercenaries who make a living taking on dangerous jobs. Now, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 is bringing viewers back to Night City with an entirely new crew and a new story. Rather than continuing David's journey, the series is embracing its anthology format to explore another corner of this massive dystopian world.

The latest season of Netflix's hit dating experiment takes the pods to Boston, where 30 singles will attempt to form meaningful connections without ever laying eyes on each other.
The premise remains the same: contestants get to know potential partners through conversations alone, and those who find someone they truly connect with can get engaged before meeting face-to-face. Once they leave the pods, however, their relationships enter the real world, where living together, family introductions, and wedding planning will put those connections to the test. As always, the biggest question remains: Can these couples build something real before they ever see each other?
'Minimum Wage' (2026)

Grab a slice of Minimum Wage. The series expands on the breakout short-form series of the same name from American High Shorts, which quickly built an audience across social media after launching in May 2024.
The original shorts have racked up more than 30 million views across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, giving the Netflix series a built-in audience and plenty of momentum heading into its debut. The story follows a group of teenagers struggling to run a pizza place while juggling school, a manic boss, and, of course, minimum wage.
'Nobody Wants This' Season 3 (2024–Present)

One of Netflix's favorite couples is coming back this month. Noah (Adam Brody) and Joanne (Kristen Bell) are taking their relationship to the next level in Nobody Wants This Season 3, and moving in together could be the biggest test of their relationship yet. After navigating the complications that come with dating across different religious backgrounds, the couple finally seems ready to build a life together. But their next chapter comes with plenty of changes and a few new complications.
Joanne is continuing her conversion journey with the guidance of Rabbi Eden (Sarah Silverman), while the arrival of Sebastien (Andrew Rannells) at Temple Chai threatens to shake things up with a fresh source of gossip and intrigue. Meanwhile, Sasha (Timothy Simons) and Esther (Jackie Tohn) find themselves back in the dating pool, giving the season another romantic storyline to follow. Morgan (Justine Lupe) is also entering a new phase of her life as her career begins moving toward something resembling media fame. However, her increasingly complicated relationship with Sasha remains a major part of her story, adding another layer of tension to the family dynamics. Season 3 also brings creator Erin Foster into the cast as Nicole, a character who offers an intriguing reflection of Joanne's past. Nicole embodies the more self-destructive version of Joanne that she has worked to leave behind, giving Joanne another opportunity to confront the person she used to be while figuring out who she wants to become.
