Mike Maignan was sent off in Milan’s Europa League clash with Bournemouth after shoving Tyler Adams in the face.
The incident came in the 27th minute, with Milan already trailing to Justin Kluivert’s early penalty. As Bournemouth lined up a corner, Adams got close to Maignan, and the goalkeeper pushed him away with a hand to the face.

The referee showed the goalkeeper a straight red card, which a VAR check confirmed, while Adams was also booked.
To make matters worse for Ruben Amorim’s side, Bournemouth were awarded a penalty for the incident and Tavernier converted it to make it 2-0, leaving the Rossoneri with a mountain to climb.
