APC chairman celebrates Oluremi Tinubu at 66

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has described First Lady Oluremi Tinubu as a compassionate leader whose interventions have touched Nigerians across political, ethnic, religious and geographical boundaries.

Yilwatda stated this in a birthday message issued on Monday to celebrate the First Lady, who clocks 66.

The APC chairman, who spoke on behalf of the party’s National Working Committee, leaders and members, said Oluremi Tinubu’s work through the Renewed Hope Initiative and other interventions had focused on education, healthcare, women and youth empowerment, as well as support for vulnerable Nigerians.

He described her as a “true mother of the nation,” saying her activities had demonstrated that leadership was about restoring dignity, rekindling hope and giving people confidence in a better future.

Yilwatda also commended what he described as the First Lady’s “quiet acts of kindness” and commitment to humanity, saying they had made her a source of comfort and inspiration to many Nigerians.

The APC chairman also highlighted Oluremi Tinubu’s support for her husband, President Bola Tinubu, as the administration pursues its economic transformation and national renewal agenda.

He said her “strength, wisdom, prayers and understanding” had provided an important pillar of support to the President as he faced the responsibilities of governing the country.

“Your partnership exemplifies the power of shared purpose in the service of a nation,” Yilwatda said.

He prayed for the First Lady to be blessed with good health, wisdom, grace and renewed energy, while wishing her greater fulfilment in the years ahead.

“May the years ahead bring you greater fulfilment and enable you to touch even more lives with your compassion and service,” he said.

Yilwatda also prayed for the continued blessing of her union with the President and for strength and wisdom for the couple in their service to Nigeria.

He concluded by wishing the First Lady a happy 66th birthday and praying that her life would continue to be a blessing to Nigeria and humanity.
