Pranavi Urs Finishes Strong As Casandra Alexander Clinches LET Crown In Style

India's star golfer Pranavi Urs shot a solid four-under 68 to cap off a decent week at the Wistron Ladies Open, finishing tied for 17th on Sunday. This was her ninth top-20 finish of the season, which has also featured two top-five finishes, including one at her home event, the Hero Women's Indian Open. She finished with rounds of 70-68-73-68 for a total of nine-under 279. South Africa's Casandra Alexander produced a stellar final-round performance, winning by three strokes after carding an eight-under 64 at the Sunrise Golf and Country Club.
Pranavi registered three birdies and one bogey on each nine. She made three consecutive birdies from the second to the fourth hole before dropping a shot on the fifth.
On the back nine, she picked up further birdies on the 10th, 13th and 17th holes, along with a bogey on the 12th.
The South African had opened the tournament with a 64 and followed it up with rounds of 71, 68 and 64 to finish at 21-under-par and claim the title.
It was Alexander's fourth Ladies European Tour (LET) title and her third victory in five LET appearances, having also won the KPMG Women's Irish Open and the Buccellati Ladies Italian Open in 2026.
"That was pretty spectacular. That's the most comfortable I have felt in a final round. I wouldn't say I hit it unbelievably today either, but I walked off and signed for an eight-under.
"I made birdies where I needed to and some clutch pars. Pretty spectacular and pretty special. I'm upset that my husband is not here, but that's alright!" said Alexander.
Alexander's flawless final-round 64 featured birdies on the third, sixth, ninth and 10th holes.
The world No. 27 then reached the green in two on the par-five 13th and converted her eagle putt to extend her lead at the top of the leaderboard.
She sealed the victory with birdies on the 16th and 18th holes to win by three shots.
With the victory, Alexander secured an unassailable lead in the 2026 LET Order of Merit, clinching the title with two events remaining.
England's Hannah Screen finished second on her own, recording her best-ever LET result after a final-round 66.
The English golfer birdied the second hole before dropping a shot on the fourth.
Screen then found her rhythm and pushed Alexander all the way, making six birdies across her final 10 holes to finish the week at 18-under-par.
Chinese Taipei's Pei-Ying Tsai and England's Mimi Rhodes shared third place at 17-under-par.
Home favourite Ching Huang finished fifth at 15-under-par, while compatriot Cheng-Hsuan Shih was one stroke further back in sixth.
Spain's Ana Pelaez Trivino and Chinese Taipei's Phoebe Yao were tied for seventh at 13-under-par, while England's Alice Hewson finished ninth after a final-round 67.
Hong Kong's Ginnie Ding and Thailand's Cholcheva Wongras rounded out the top 10 at 11-under-par.
In the LET Order of Merit standings, Alexander sealed the title and moved to 3,456.48 points.
Canada's Anna Huang remained second, followed by Australia's Kelsey Bennett, Germany's Alexandra Forsterling and France's Agathe Laisne.
Screen climbed from 44th to 20th following her runner-up finish, while Rhodes jumped from 112th to 67th after sharing third place.
The LET heads to Shenzhen next week for the Aramco China Championship, which will be held at Mission Hills from November 5 to 8.
