Chelle Scout New Left Back For Super Eagles Playing In Czech Republic

Head coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Eric Chelle has identified Pardubice of Czech Republic defender Emmanuel Godwin for a spot in his U23 team, and possibly the Super Eagles.

We can exclusively reveal that Chelle received good reports on the 21 year old from his scouts over the weekend, while making checks on Banik Ostrava defender Abdullahi Bewene.

It was Godwin that ran away with the accolades with his speed, strength, tackling and also usage of the ball playing a huge role in his team’s 2-1. It was eight consecutive game in the league.

The idea per what we gathered is to see him at close quarters with the U23 team, when they begin their U23 AFCON qualifiers in November, however there is still a chance for him to be a part of the Super Eagles team for the game against Russia.

Chelle will parade most of the players he intends to use in his U23 team in the game against Russia on the 6th of October, and Godwin has come highly recommended ahead of the game.
