The campaign flag-off, held in Sakuwa town, attracted party leaders, supporters and residents from across the constituency.

Speaking at the rally, Bauchi State Governor, Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, urged voters to support the APM candidate, saying continuity in government would help sustain ongoing infrastructure and community development projects across the state.

The governor also urged the electorate to look beyond political sentiments and assess government policies based on their impact on their livelihoods and communities.

Also speaking, the Director-General of the campaign organisation, Alhaji Hamza Koshe Akuyam, called on party supporters to remain united and mobilise voters across the wards and polling units ahead of the election.

The APM candidate, Hon. Yakubu Adamu, appealed to the electorate for their support, promising effective representation and commitment to addressing the needs and aspirations of the constituency.

The campaign team later proceeded to Disina in Shira Local Government Area for another mobilisation rally ahead of the bye-election.

The September 19 poll is expected to determine the new representative for the vacant State House of Assembly seat in the constituency.
