Lars Anderson’s latest book about American football player Tom Brady covers many topics from his life, including his bombshell splits over the years. ‘Brady: An American Story and the Price of Greatness' reveals information about his divorce from Gisele Bündchen, which was heavily publicised, along with his split from ‘Blue Bloods’ star Bridget Moynahan and what happened with his relationships.

Brady and Bündchen were married for 13 years after exchanging vows in 2009, but ultimately, they parted ways in 2022. The two also share two children: Benjamin and Vivian. Just Jared reported that, according to the book, Brady attempted to save the marriage in 2022 before they called it off. This was reportedly around the time he missed the Buccaneers training camp to handle personal matters.However, at the time, according to Quarterbacks coach Clyde Christensen, Tom had been taking time off to deal with some “psychological shock.”

The statement further read, “Something had blindsided him—something very bad and something that had completely debilitated the forty-five-year-old man.” Another passage from the book added, “She explained that their marriage wasn’t working. She needed more of him, more of his time, more of his attention, more of his heart.

” The book also revealed that the supermodel had written Brady a letter in 2018 about her feelings, years before the pair filed for divorce.

His former coach Bruce Arians also talked about the matter and shared that Brady lost about 20 pounds in 2022 around the time of their split and was physically struggling a lot. Another excerpt from the book read, “With all respect, he looked like a cancer patient with really good hair. He just seemed miserable, not even close to the Tom we all loved. He was so stressed.”According to the book, Gisele realised one day that she and Brady were no longer compatible as a couple, adding, “Then one day, Gisele, who is really into astrology, basically looked into the stars and told Tom, ‘We’re not compatible.'’

And just like that, she was done. But what triggered that? Was it the years of feeling like she wasn’t his top priority? That he kept playing when she’d asked him to step away? Maybe.”

Soon after, Brady started dating Bündchen, though at the time, Monyahan also revealed to the football player that she was pregnant.At the time, the news surrounding their split and the star’s pregnancy set “ablaze a global media firestorm.” The publicity surrounding their split “turned their private dilemma into a public spectacle," and Brady was also heavily criticised for breaking up with Moynahan in the first place.

However, according to the book, a certified obstetrics nurse revealed that her date of conception was in November 2006, a few weeks before Brady had even stepped out for his first date with the supermodel.Gisele was also left confused at the time because of the gravity of the situation; however, the two ultimately stayed together until 2022. A statement from the book read: “The most famous supermodel in the world chose to stay with Brady as he was about to become the father of another woman’s child.”Moynahan and Brady’s son, Jack Moynahan, was born in 2007 and is currently 19 years old.
