Druski Leads One Of ‘SNL’s Most Star-Studded Curtain Calls Ever With Emma Stone, Michael B. Jordan, Austin Butler, Plus Chappelle, Rock, Goggins

Hollywood heavy hitters turned out to witness Saturday Night Live history on Saturday as comedian Druski became the fist digital creator to host the venerable NBC late-night sketch program.

Durski’s Eddington co-star Emma Stone and newly elected Texas Senator James Talarico were expected to join the host for the curtain call at the end of the show having appeared in the monologue and Cold Open, respectively. But they were not the only celebrity visitors onstage alongside Druski, the SNL cast and musical guest The Strokes. The group included two Oscar winners, Stone and Michael B. Jordan, and one Oscar nominee, Austin Butler.

Jordan and Butler (in a baseball cap), who have been filming Miami Vice ’85 in the New York area, attended with their co-star in the movie, Walton Goggins.

Top comedians Chris Rock, an SNL alum, and Dave Chappelle, a four-time SNL host, were also on hand for the occasion, flanking Druski. There was some discourse online Saturday night whether or not Chappelle snubbed Talarico early during the goodbyes but the politician can later seen embracing both Chappelle and Rock.

Morgan Neville, director the Lorne documentary about SNL boss Lorne Michaels, was also present.

While SNL is known to attract celebrities behind the scenes every Saturday, this week’s contingent was particularly strong, and Druski was the main draw, I hear.

The digital creator seemed overwhelmed by the turnout, name-checking Chappelle, Rock and Goggins and later pulling Jordan to the front.

SNL is known for taking risks with unconventional host choices through the years. Ironically, the two biggest targets of this week’s episode’s Cold Open and Weekend Update, Donald Trump and Elon Musk, both have hosted the show, Trump twice.
