Euromatch NPFL: Sporting Lagos Boss Buter Targets Away Win At Abia Warriors

Sporting Lagos technical adviser, Jeffery Buter, has expressed his side’s determination to build on their first win of the season when they take on Abia Warriors this weekend.

The Lagos-based club recorded their first victory of the campaign with an impressive 3-0 win over Inter Lagos last weekend.

Sporting Lagos will now face Abia Warriors in a Matchday 4 fixture at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan on Sunday.

Buter Keen To Maintain Winning Momentum

Buter said his team is focused on maintaining their momentum while taking each game as it comes.

“Yes, it’s important that we keep up with the impressive performance. We have to take it one game at a time,” Buter told the club’s media.

“The win against Inter Lagos was important, but it’s done. We now look forward to the next game against Abia Warriors.

“We have a long month ahead, with four games in 10 days coming towards the latter stage of the month. We will be ready.”

Sporting Lagos currently occupy 10th position position in the NPFL table with three points from two games.
