Fiorentina Star Lead Guinea-Bissau Charge For Goals Against Super Eagles

Norberto Bercique Gomes Betuncal popularly known as Beto will lead the line for Guinea-Bissau against Nigeria in tomorrow’s AFCON 2027 qualifiers game in Bissau, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Beto was born in Portugal and made their preliminary list for the 2002 World Cup before deciding to switch his nationality to Guinea-Bissau, the origin of his parents two years ago.
He has ten caps to his name with a goal, a record the new Fiorentina striker will like to improve against Nigeria in a top of the table clash, with both teams winning their opening game of the qualifiers.
Famed for his time in the English Premier League with Everton, where he scored 20 goals in 99 games, the 28 year old is yet to get going at Fiorentina since his summer transfer, with no goal in three games.
Strong, quick and well experienced with stints in Italy and Portugal before moving to England and now Italy, he will no doubt be one of the players the defenders of Nigeria have to put an eye on.
